Andrew Johnson
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, RMT, M.OMSc
Andrew is a Classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton Ontario. He is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association.
Andrew's health care journey began when he graduated from D'arcy Lane School of Massage Therapy in 2012. During this time, he realized manual therapy and the study of the human body was what he was most passionate about. After years of working as a Registered Massage Therapist, and as he has gained more experience with manual health care, so did his need for a greater understanding of the human body. This led him to continue his studies in Manual Osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
As a practitioner of Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Andrew looks to find the root cause of your problems by understanding the interrelationships between the structure and function of the body. His role is to facilitate the self-healing, self-regulating mechanisms of the body in order to help restore good health. Andrew maintains an active lifestyle through activities such as yoga, rollerblading, and hiking. He also strives to eat the healthiest and nutritious foods, while keeping the mind active with various readings.
Michael Pauwels
Registered Massage Therapist, RMT
After 20+ years in manufacturing including the auto industry, Michael returned to Lambton College where he graduated from the Massage Therapy program in 2020. The pandemic delayed his certification as a Registered Massage Therapist until September 2021.
Michael completed his Level 1 & 2 FST through the Stretch to Win Institute and has been practicing massage and stretch therapy since he entered the health industry in October 2021. As an RMT, Michael's treatments combine massage therapy, myofascial release, mobilizations and fascial stretch therapy. Clients are fully dressed in athletic wear / comfortable clothing with sessions billed under Massage Therapy and covered by benefit providers.
Michael uses his skills to help everyone including desk workers looking to combat the negative effects of sitting in front of a computer all day, those who feel that their mobility isn't where they want it to be and athletes looking to level up their performance. He aims to empower his clients to gain a greater understanding of their bodies so they can achieve their health and mobility goals.
Mindy Willis
Manual Osteopathic Therapist, M.OMSc
